The National media association of Uzbekistan established in 2003, is a non-governmental, non-commercial organization that unites the country’s media outlets. It focuses on the development of the media industry, supporting journalists, and implementing various educational and professional projects. The association actively works to develop a modern media environment, promote freedom of speech, and foster the professional growth of journalists, playing a vital role in shaping the country’s information policy. The National Media Association comprises 54 mass media outlets, including: 22 TV channels; 19 radio stations; 8 online TV channels; 2 websites; 1 journal; 1 media platform; The International Press Club.
