A meeting was held between the National Media Association of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of Malaysia in Uzbekistan

On February 18, Chairman of the Board of NMAU, Rector of UzJMCU Sherzodkhon Kudratxoja, received His Excellency Ilham Tuah bin Ilyas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further developing bilateral media cooperation, promoting tourism through television and digital platforms, as well as implementing joint media and production initiatives. The sides emphasized that, in the spirit of friendship and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Malaysia, it is important to enhance cooperation in the field of mass media through experience exchange, capacity-building programs, and strengthening information exchange. Special attention was also given to organizing filming processes in Uzbekistan by Malaysian media companies and to broadly showcasing the country’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential to international audiences. The meeting was held in an open, cordial, and constructive atmosphere, and agreements were reached to continue cooperation through concrete joint projects.
